Invest
What a society invests in reveals what it values. Despite
one of the most profound demographic shi昀琀s in history,
aging receives far less a琀琀en琀椀on than its economic and
societal importance demands.
Investment must focus on people as much as markets, products,
and services. Employers should be琀琀er integrate bene昀椀ts to
re昀氀ect the full arc of working lives and support lifelong learning,
reskilling, and career transi琀椀ons. Individuals need be琀琀er tools and
guidance to navigate longer careers and changing life stages. Core
ins琀椀tu琀椀ons need to invest in the tools, technologies, and planning
frameworks for longevity, while enabling capital to 昀氀ow with the
same scale and con昀椀dence as it does in other sectors. The private
sector cannot carry out this work alone; it must be matched by
investment in public policies, programs, and systems that support
those with the fewest resources.
